N6-Methyladenosine (m6A) is the most common modification of messenger RNA (mRNA) in mammals. It critically influences metabolism and plays an essential role virtually all types bioprocesses including gene expression, tissue development, self-renewal differentiation stem cells, stress response circadian clock control. a crucial carcinogenesis could be used as prognostic diagnostic tool target for new anticancer therapies. m6A dynamically reversibly regulated by three proteins. Methyltransferases, so-called “writers” add methyl group to adenosine, which can removed demethylases, also called “erasers.” m6A-specific RNA-binding proteins, from here on referred “readers,” preferentially bind site mediate biological functions, such translation, splicing or decay RNA. In this study, we examined expression six readers HNRNPA2B1, HNRNPC, YTHDC1 YTHDF1-3 clear cell renal carcinoma (ccRCC). We show that mRNA level significantly downregulated compared normal protein five out are dysregulated. Lower levels some correlated with advanced stage grade well associated shorter overall, progression-free cancer-specific survival. summary, dysregulated ccRCC might therefore act tumor marker, give further information individual prognosis innovative cancer therapy.
